The Collective's digital hub

One home for every creative, venue, and stage in the region.

Regional rooms, IRL and virtual meetups, a shared gigs board, a resource library, and a direct line to the people already booking, playing, and presenting across our beautiful region. Free to join, built for and led by our community.

01 / Why join

The region's music people, finally in one place.

The 2024 Northeast Tennessee Music Census asked 1,213 creatives, venues, and industry workers what they needed most. 51% told us the single biggest gap is a place to connect and collaborate, more than money or gear. 86% of us learned this business on our own, and 42% of venues are stuck untangling permits and regulations with no one to call. A shared, region wide directory fixes that. This is that place.

“I would love to collaborate with other musicians and/or join with a band but have no idea how to connect with like-minded folks.”

Nobody should have to guess how to find their people or resources in a region with this much music in it. The hub exists so nobody does.

02 / Step inside

The lights are already on.

This is the actual hub, not a mockup. Rooms for every corner of the region, a gigs board with real dates, and a feed where asking for an intro, advice, or a hand is the whole point. The first face you see in there will be a neighbor's.

Inside the AMC digital hub: community discussions, regional rooms for Eastern Kentucky, Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina, a gigs board, and ways to ask for intros, advice, and help

The hub is grassroots on purpose. Any member can start a songwriter circle, a jam, a meetup, or an event, and showcase their work to neighbors across all of Appalachia. It is also home to AMC's formal live events calendar, the monthly music newsletter, expert interviews, and virtual live events.

Regional rooms. Gigs and opportunities. Intros, advice, and kudos from people who actually show up. On the web and in your pocket, with apps for iOS and Android. And it is completely free.
